Awra ‘Forbidden Nudity‘ is a creative exercise by artist Walid Al Wawi, the name encapsulates a collection of ready to wear and use objects that examine the cumulative uprooting of the Palestinian body through abstract imagery and provocative slogans. Awra attempts to deliver an explicit narrative on the Palestinian diaspora and its unique revolutionary identity in seek of a collective one.
